We ask that all parents participate in one of the following:

• The Achievement Academy Family Association: This parent group plans school functions for the scholars, from school bake sales to end-of-the-year trips.  In addition to the promotion of positive events for the scholars to enjoy, this group also does fund-raising for the school and works in the community to keep a good relationship with neighborhood businesses.

• The Achievement Academy Parent Forums: This is a group that meets with the administration and board of trustees to voice concerns and help make positive changes in the school.  This group helps to keep the parents and administration on the right track.

At Achievement Academy, we want all parents to be a part of their child’s education, and we believe that a strong partnership between the school and parents is essential to enabling your child to grow up educationally, socially, and emotionally strong. 
Along with our parent organizations, Achievement Academy also offers extracurricular activities in which the scholars might participate, including:

• Achievement Academy Basketball Team
• Achievement Academy Diamond Clusters
• Achievement Academy Drill and Step Team
• Achievement Academy Drum Team
• Achievement Academy Young Gentleman’s Club
• Achievement Academy Young Lady’s Etiquette Group

Each of these groups promotes team work, confidence, and dedication, all of which are valued at Achievement Academy.
